Question: How do you satisfy 800,000+ residents who are too busy to travel all the way to Upper Marlboro -- or who lack Internet access -- to satisfy such public service needs as:
- Reporting potholes or abandoned cars
- Obtaining a voter registration application
- Application for a county government job
- Application for public assistance
- Obtaining a Police complaint form
- Getting referrals about the public services available from any county agency
- Registering a complaint regarding county services
Answer: The ONtheGO Government Services Mobile Office in a neighborhood near you!
The OnTheGo Government Services Mobile Office is an outreach tool from County Executive Jack Johnson created to bring Prince George's County services to the people. This initiative demonstrates the Johnson Administration's commitment to improve customer service to county residents.
- The mobile office is staffed by a team of trained specialists from the Office of Community Relations (OCR) to assist citizens.
- We deploy to county shopping centers, town halls, churches, community centers, apartment complexes.
- Local municipal and civic association leaders, as well as County Council Members, will be available whenever possible to meet with residents visiting the Mobile Office.
- Spanish-speaking staff when available will be onboard in neighborhoods with large Latino populations. Bilingual Spanish and Korean staff members will also be available by telephone at all other times.
