Volunteer Services
Volunteer Services offers a variety of support services to the Department
of Social Services and provides opportunities for many to contribute their
time, expertise and good will to people less fortunate than themselves.
For example, you can participate in the following volunteer opportunities:
- Provide clerical assistance
- Assist with special events and fundraisers
- Deliver food baskets

We invite residents, businesses, public and private agencies and organizations
to learn more about the many special projects designed to help build
strong, integrated communities and foster independence.
For example, you can donate towards any of the following programs:
- Holiday Sharing - Donate food, toys and clothing
needy families & children
- Send A Child To Camp - Donate equipment or funds
for camp fees
- Senior Easter Baskets - Provide food and toiletries
to homebound senior citizens
- School Supplies Drive - Donate needed school
supplies for children in foster care, homeless shelters and
transitional housing
- E Donations - We serve as a donations clearinghouse
between the community and non-profit homeless service providers/faith-based
programs.

Interpretation Services are available for Non-English Speaking customers.
