Community Outreach Division

Mission Statement
The mission of the Community Outreach Division is to improve understanding and communication in the community at-large and the workplace through civil rights training, education and involvement in community outreach initiatives and events.

Composition of Division & Responsibilities
The Community Outreach Division of the Human Relations Commission is comprised of (1) full-time Administrative Assistant. This division is responsible for the coordination and administering of general civil rights trainings educating County Employees, Town Mayors and Councils, students, residents, and citizens of the County about their civil rights and liberties and the agency’s responsibility to protect them. In addition, this division provides administrative support to the Executive & Deputy Directors while coordinating and representing the agency at various government and community sponsored events.
